Estate Sale find of several older tools listed for auction and I will combine shipping w possible to save on shipping cost.You are bidding on one Stanley #55 combination plane as pictured.The wood is all good. It is not cracked, glued or broken. It is just old and appears to have normal wear with small dings,scrapes etc.I have not cleaned or taken anything apart on this plane. It could use a good cleaning and I will leave that to the experts. I have provided plenty of pictures and will answer any questions to the best of my ability. Please keep in mind that we are not tool experts and may not be familiar with some of the terms used in describing these tools.Please see my other planes listed. Note: We were emailed by an interested bidder and asked about the Top Picture on the right column of pictures. As you can see in this picture, w the front slide (shaft) goes through its corresponding hole t appears to be a small piece missing/chipped off the edge. We had not noticed this and appreciate this being brought to our attention. Please note that this item is used and we've been told its approx. 100 years old and is sold as is. Sorry for any inconvenience. We were also asked about the patent dates. The stamped area was wiped off a little with a damp towel and it reads: STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. PAT. SEP.19, 93. " JAN.22, 95.
