This item is a booklet of some wonderful, vintage bedspread designs by Anne Orr. The title of the booklet is "Star Book of Knitted and Crocheted Bedspreads." It is book number 4 and was published by American Thread Company of New York City, New York. It has a copyright of 1936.Complete instructions and pictures are included for many projects such as Shell Design for Knitting, Bedspread in Star & Flower Design, Octagon Bedspread, Old Southern Spread, and more. The back pages of the booklet give pictures and directions on the many knitting and crochet stitches.This booklet is in amazing condition considering it is just shy of 70 years old. There is some minor wear to the outer and binding edges. The front cover has one small area where surface has been pulled off. It looks as if a tag was removed. The interior pages are in excellent condition - no writing or dog-ears. Because of the great condition of this booklet, it would make a wonderful gift for someone who enjoys knitting and crocheting!
