Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some fine knives for auction from a just acquired a huge knife collection purchase. Pay Pal gladly accepted. TN residents pay 9.25% state sales tax. The winning bidder pays $5.95 for USPS 1st Class Mail Shipping Delivery Confirmation included in the Shipping price.This knife for auction is a 1977 issue Star Deer Slayer Clasp Knife , 5 1/2" closed, manufactured exclusively for my late father Jim Parker and Jim Frost, doing business as Parker-Frost Cutlery.Star Sales was a large wholesale operation based in Knoxville, TN that operated much like a Costco or Sam's Club of today. They only sold to businesses and my dad and Jim Frost used to buy knives from them when they first started out back in the 1970's, and Parker Frost Cutlery contracted with Star Sales to have this Deer Slayer Clasp Knife manufactured exclusively.This Star Deer Slayer has a great detailed deep etched Clip blade and is stamped on the front tang with Star Handcrafted while the rear tang is pattern stamped with 3330 440 Stainless Japan. The scales are a beautiful laminated ringed staminawood and the shield is a nice Bowtie style, stamped with "Deer Slayer".Please be sure to see the Supersize Photos as this is the EXACT knife the winning bidder will receive.This outstanding 1977 issue Star Deer Slayer Clasp Knife is in mint condition
