We purchased the whole set of the very limited Wizard of Oz cookie jars produced by Star Jars (Treasure Craft) over ten years ago and have now decided to start selling some of them. These are really large and heavy cookie jars and are still packed in the original boxes and packing that we received them in. They were only removed from boxes for inspection when we first received them and now for the photos (never used or displayed). You are bidding on a really beautiful and rare cookie jar featuring the "Dorothy & Toto". This jar stands approximately 15 inches tall and 14 inches wide. It was produced in 1994 and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. T were only 1939 of these jars produced and this one is marked 392/1939. On the bottom of the jar (check photo), it is marked "006", "Dorothy & Toto", "Star Limited Edition Jars", "392/1939", "U.S.A.", "Treasure Craft Wizard of Oz" and "1994 Turner Entertainment". The colors and detail are trully outstanding on this jar and would be a must for any collector of cookie jars or Wizard of Oz items. This jar ia unusual as it actually has two seperate lids as both the head of Dorothy and the head of Toto act as lids. Starting bid on this jar is only $99.99 with no reserve.
