Star Trek Barbie and Ken Giftset-30th Anniversary-NIB You are bidding on a Barbie® Doll and Ken® Doll Star Trek™ Giftset. This Collector's Edition giftset (1996) celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Star Trek™. It was made in Indonesia by Mattell®. This giftset features Barbie and Ken aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise™ NCC-1701. Barbie is wearing a badge and a red Star Trek™ uniform which shows her status as a member of the ship's engineering section. She is carrying a replica of a tricorder, which is a multipurpose scientific and technical instrument that incorporates computers, sensors and recorders all in a convenient handheld device. She is also carrying a replica of a communicator which allows her to contact other Starfleet personnel . Ken is wearing a gold jersey and a badge denoting his position in the Command division. He carries a replica of a phaser- acronym for PHASed Energy Rectification- a directed energy weapon used by Starfleet personnel. Lieutenant Barbie and Commander Ken join the renowned crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise: Captain James T.
