NOT A TOY**ADULTS ONLY**Up for sale is a calssic Star Trek Phaser from playmates stock no. 6118, except this is no ordinary toy.This Phaser has been modified with a 2 watt 445nm blue laser!! This is a very powerful laser that can burn things instantly as seen in the videos I have in my Dropbox. Message me for the link.The original soundboard is intact and has two different sounds. I used a 3v regulator to power the sound board because the 3.7v 14500 rechargeable lithium ion batteries are ran in series to power the laser diode. The batteries are the same size as A A batteries so modifying the battery compartment wasn't necessary. The batteries go in the same order as the original AA's. Batteries and charger included!I have installed an aluminum heat sink to keep the laser cool, but continuous run is not recommended past a few minutes without a few minutes break. I have run the laser for 2 minutes without any problems. At the tip of the Phaser there is a focus adapter which you turn to focus the beam, this makes it extremely easy to focus the beam over long distances.This Phaser Laser is not a toy for a reason, it will burn you, if you shoot yourself or someone else in the eyes, you will go blind, which is why I am also including a pair of protective glasses.
