You are bidding on the most sacred piece in my Star Trek collection! This is a working Type III phaser rifle from the next generation. It has been out-fitted with a working panel from the hero version Master Replicas prop of the type II phaser from First Contact. You can press the control buttons on the panel to activate multiple settings. T is a red trigger and when pressed, can activate three different sounds of phaser discharge depending on the setting. T is also a very bright red light at the firing end of the rifle that goes off when the trigger is pressed. The back handle of the rifle is screwed in through a metal plate, which allows you to hold the phaser rifle JUST by the back handle like they do in the show, without fear of the handle following off. The quality of this prop is high, although t is paint degradation on the handles as pictured above. This can be easily fixed, though. The black paint has rubbed off on roughly half of the area of each handle. This will need a quick paint job. The rest of the prop is in pretty good condition. T are the occasional scratches and tiny cracks in the resin, but the overall condition of the rifle is very good. I purchased this at a convention years ago, and I am selling it for extra college tuition money. Please email me with any questions or concerns. Thanks! This is an As Is sale.
