You are bidding on a Star Trek Original Series- Functional Phaser 2 Prop Replica . This Replica is sturdy and well crafted, constructed of high-impact styrene plastic with real metal details and built to last as an impressive show-piece, not a toy. It also features sound with truly intense strobing-light effects (similar to that of a camera-flash unit) which set it apart from the typical Replicas seen nowadays. Features: * Phaser turns on/off via thumbwheel switch on top of the Phaser 1 unit. * ON/OFF indicated by a miniature Work ing Power-Level Meter and Blue LED indicator light on the Phaser 1 unit. * BRILLIANT strobing flash effect which has 4 settings with sound (low volume): (1)Torch setting(?)--Light-effects looks like a welding torch-(not as bright as other settings) (2) Slow pulse INTENSLY BRIGHT FLASHES (do not fire the strobe directly at anyone) (3) Faster Pulse but Still INTENSE BRIGHT FLASHES (4) Fastest pulse-still bright--but not as bright as previous settings * Made from high impact styrent plastic and the Phaser Pistol body is painted gray and the Phaser 1 is black. The paint is of the high-quality and durable automotive-type and has a slight textured semi-gloss finish, which is reminiscent of the replicas from 1970's-1980's-early 1990's.Real metal parts Phaser 2 metal parts: "forward-lock plate" (non functional), nozzle, top/front detail, trigger, "dilithium crystal"-knob on the side, brass P1- lock release detail (also non-functional) and the skirt of the rear force setting knob. (K nob is not removeable) For the Phaser 1 unit --metal parts are: side-trim (both sides), cross hatched-plate detail on top and the collar of the Blue-LED on-off indicator. . * Takes 2 common 6-volt camera batteries (basic set included but it is highly recommended that lithium be used) and is accessed through the bottom of the Phaser 2 handle (battery cover is also metal). * Includes operating instructions and is Guaranteed to be in perfect working order when shipped out. It is the buyers' responsibility to handle with care as per precautions that are listed below: Please note: ** Due to the electronics construction, the Phaser 1 sight-cover is non-functional & the Phaser 1 unit DOES NOT separate from the Phaser 2 unit and cannot be removed due to the electronics arrangement housed within. ** This prop operates from complex electronic circuitry and as such must be handled with care and respect. Do not attempt to access electronics as this not only may result in damage to the Phaser operation, but may result in a po werful shock due to the electronics arrangement housed inside. ** The side-dilithium crystal-knob and Phaser nozzle DO NOT TURN ** This is a functional prop replica which serves as an excellent show-piece and is NOT a toy.
