Welcome to another custom lego creation by Joe's Custom Creations ! This listing is for one of Joe's Coolest Custom Sets - that you will NOT find anyw else! A Customized - Gray & Red - Rebel Alliance Fleet - Blockade Runner - with instructions included! Set has nearly 1800 pieces, measures nearly 28 inches (70 cm) and weighs over 10 pounds of pure lego building fun - this is sure to take the even the best lego builders days to complete! The History: After Princess Leia intercepted the plans to the original Death Star, she attempted to flee Darth Vader in a Corellian corvette called the Tantive IV. Vader's forces destroyed the Tantive IV. In the years that followed, Corellian Corvette's would become an important component of the Rebel Alliance's Fleet. In fact, the corvette's became so strongly associated with the Alliance's ability to elude Imperial capture that many people came to call them "Rebel Blockade Runners." The Speed: The Corellian Corvette is fast! Fast for two reasons, it has eleven engines on its tail that give it an impressive sublight drive for ship of its size. It also has a super efficient hyperjump calculator. The combination of the two allows the corvettes to escape into hyperspace very quickly and elude Imperial pursuit . The Ship: A Corellian Corvette is an older-model, multipurpose capital ship. The ship can serve as a troop carrier, light escort vehicle, cargo transport, and even a passenger liner! Although the corvette was not designed initially as a warship and tfore not manufactured with weapons; the Alliance has equipped their fleet of corvettes with eight turbolasers that pack enough power, when coupled with a several other corvettes, to give many imperial ships a bunch of trouble . INSTRUCTIONS: A custom set of .jpg picture instructions on cd-r will painstakingly take the builder through all the changes made to this set step by step with over 60 images. The original 10019 Ultimate Rebel Blockade Runner's instructions will also be included on cd-r . Recommended by Joe for ages 12 and up - but would make a great project for Dad or Mom to help someone younger or less experienced with lego. Building with lego makes for great bonding time with your son or daughter. 14 years is the Lego recommended age on the original set. It is not significantly harder than other large sets that have a lower age level. A Unique Find - original - Not sold in stores - just in my eBay store - w you can even buy more than 1! NEVER before seen in Lego, this auction is a truly unique find. It is made with 100% LEGO and from 99% brand new & never built with parts (only the display model was built as others were sorted) and about 1% quality used parts - a used part may have snuck in during the construction process.
