We are very pleased to offer this beautiful 66-piece sterling silverware set in the classically elegant Formality pattern, introduced by State House Silver in 1942. The winning bidder will receive the following: twelve 9 1/4-inch hollow handle dinner knives with stainless steel blades, twelve 7 1/8-inch dinner forks, twelve 6 3/8-inch salad or dessert forks with wider notched cutting tine and cut-out at base of tines, twelve 6 1/8-inch round bowl cream soup spoons, twelve 6 1/8-inch teaspoons, an 8 1/8-inch meat serving fork, two 8 3/8-inch berry or casserole serving spoons, a 6 3/8-inch gravy ladle, a 6 7/8-inch master butter knife, and a 6-inch sugar spoon. That's twelve 5-piece place settings, plus lots of serving pieces! Dinner knife blades are marked "Stainless" and handles are marked "Sterling Handle". All other pieces are marked "State House Sterling" and "Formality". Upon close inspection, we note minimal scratching to some dinner fork tines from previous use. We also note that the gravy ladle has some scuffing and nicks in its bowl and the two serving spoons are duller than the other pieces, with some nicks in their bowls and some roughness on their rims that the winning bidder might choose to have buffed out. All pieces are otherwise in very good to excellent condition, with no dents, deep scratches, or other damage and lots of shine! Bid today and have this gorgeous set in time for the holidays!
