Beautiful Stately 1800's Civil War Era Empire Dresser with Mirror Up for bids is this Beautiful Stately 1800's Civil War Era Empire Dresser with Mirror. What a statement this piece makes when one walks into a room and sees this! This dresser would look grand in your bedroom, guestroom or any room of your home. Overall, it measures 74 1/2 inches in height with the mirror and mirror stand, 42 inches wide amd 22 inches deep. The mirror itself measures 28 1/2 inches in height and 20 1/2 inches wide and is in need of attachment screws to secure it to the mirror stand. As it stands for now it needs a pair of attachment screws and currently doesn't have any. The glove doors each measure 3 1/2 inches in height, 9 3/8 inches wide and 16 inches deep. We believe the dresser is made of mixed woods and veneers; the grains and color is absolutely beautiful. Like all furniture of this vintage, it does have a few nicks and bumbs being about 150 years old, so please don't expect it to look like it just came out of the craftsman's shop. This piece is used and shows signs of such use. Be sure to see the various photos below for more details. Due to the size and weight of this dresser we are unable to ship it.
