WELCOME TO: T H E Z O N E ITEM : Here is an 8 1/2" x 11" glossy paper ideal for framing (frame not included) that comes printed as shown with a printed black frame look , along with a tiny piece of copper from the Statue of Liberty Ellis Island National Monument, adhered to it. This tiny piece has been shaved off of one of several larger pieces (one of them shown above) we have that was removed during renovations that were done between 1982 and 1992 under the supervision of the National Park Service. While all the copper on the Statue of Liberty appears green, only the very thin outer portion of the copper cladding exposed to the elements has become green over the years as is natural for copper. The unexposed portions remain non green internally. This piece has just recently been shaved off a remnant piece from the Statue of Liberty Ellis Island National Monument and has therefore only just recently been exposed to air. Thus it is not green in appearance . The piece you will get will be similar to the tiny piece shown on the glossy paper. The larger piece from which the tiny piece was trimmed from and the original Certificate of Authenticity shown above are not included in this sale.
