military book Welcome Your bid is f or : Steam & Thunder In The Timber Saga of the Forest Railroads Michael Koch Author Signature Autograph 12 full color plates Illustrated by Richard Ward Limited Edition # 2184 1979 This is another great railroad book by Micheal Koch. It takes you from the Tools and Techniques all the way through the Geography of Railroads used by the Forest Industry. Most of the pictures are in black and white, There are also twelve high quality color prints, in the book. This very rare book would make a great coffee table book, or a great gift for someone that is into Rail Roads, Steam Locomotives or Model Trains! Condition We try to follow standard book seller guidelines for condition and grading Dust Jacket very good. Minor rubbing 1/2 inch tear top front(see the last pic), light wear on the edges and corners. some soiling to the back mostly at the foredge Boo k Near Fine. Spine is tight. Clean and bright inside, no writing. Top foredge is discolored/dirty for about 3 inches on the right side. Nice AS NEW; FINE; MINT : Without faults or defects. NEAR FINE : a book approaching FINE (or AS NEW or MINT) but with a couple of very minor defects or faults, Rubbing to the dust jacket no tears lightly bumped corners. Straight tight spine VERY GOOD : A book showing some signs of wear. Rubbing to the dust jacket maybe a couple small edge tears. Book is generally clean spine is tight very little cock if any. See description for detail. GOOD : The average used book that is totally complete (as issued) and intact. Dust jacket if present complete no large pieces missing, May have multiple small edge tears. Moderate rubbing. Book complete spine maybe getting loose but all pages are attached. No more than 1/8 inch cocked. Rubbing to the outside wear at the corners. See description for details FAIR : A worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack end papers, half-title page, etc. See description for major faults, expect minor ones. POOR or READING COPY : A book that is sufficiently worn that its only merit is the complete text, which must be legible. Any missing maps or plates must be noted. May be soiled, scuffed, stained, or spotted, and may have loose joints, hinges, pages, etc. Shipping Details We do flat rate shipping so there is no guess work! Just ad the cost to your bid and you know exactly what your total price is. No hidden charges. Your book will be bubble wrapped. Placed between 2 pieces of cardboard, then placed into a bubble envelope. The bubble envelope will be sealed with tape to prevent any moisture from getting in. Sorry I had to raise the shipping prices, but the post office raised theirs. Also now bubble envelopes with card board are charged as packages. $6.65 for just 2 ounces of international .
