This is a 6.25" souvenir china coupe plate from the steamer "Put-In-Bay". The plate was made in Germany and probably sold to passengers as a souvenir, but also served as advertising for the ship line. The steamship was part of the Ashley & Dustin Line and operated from 1911-1950 in various locations in the Great Lakes region. The plate is in very good condition without chips or cracks. There is some loss of gilt to the plate's edge. Its date of creation is unknown but I would estimate it was made in the 1920's.
