This is a custom made working Etch-A-Sketch modified to give it a Steampunk look. Like any other Etch-a-Sketch, you can use the knobs to draw on it and then shake it upside down to erase and start over again. The dimensions are: 11" wide at base. 8" high at the sides and approximately 11 ½ " tall from the apex to the bottom. The drawing screen measures approximately 6 ½ " wide by approximately 4 ½" tall. Real wood and metal used in the modification. The "gear mechanism" at the top under the clear dome does not actually move and is not 100% metal, but t is some metal in t, along with some plastic and some wood painted to give it a brass look. This entire section is just for looks.The clear dome at the top that covers the "gear mechanism" is plastic and snaps in place. It can be removed and replaced. I will include two extra clear plastic domes that can fit in place, for a total of 3 domes, in case the dome ever breaks or cracks. The Etch-a-Sketch is permanently inside the Steampunk exterior and cannot be removed. Since this was hand built, t are some minor imperfections and t, such as some slight chipping along the top left area, and the copper-colored metal strip that wraps around the top does not fit perfectly flush.
