German World War I ERSOC bayonet with scabbard. 22" overall with 17 1/4" triangular blade. Base of blade has two small gothic letter proofs. Steel handle is made in two pieces and has nine diagonal grooves cut in the side. Spring catch works well. Scabbard has a few small dings but is overall very nice with brass frog stud. Blade is in very good condition . A rare bayonet in above average original condition.
