Up for bid is an original steel production sheet for Aladdin Industries 1982 THE SECRET OF NIMH metal lunchbox. This is a full color lithographed sheet. This is one of the original sheets that was used in the actual manufacture of this lunchbox. These sheets w painted white by the printer, and the colors were applied one at a time, the sheet is baked for 10 mins per color. Then it was varnished, and sent to the manufacturer to be made into a lunchbox! This steel sheet features the front, back and sideband of the lunchbox. If the buyer chooses, each piece could be cut from the original sheet for framing. Please ignore the camera glare - the surface is very shiney and it makes it hard to get a good photo. This sheet is dated 11/30/81. It measures 22x33. It is shiney, bright and unfaded, extremely colorful. T is a handwritten note on this piece that says 'Try for better match'. This leads me to believe that this was one of the original pieces that was sent to Aladdin by the printer for approval. T are a few scratches on this piece, remember that his has been in storage for 26 years!! Shipping insurance is required.
