For the serious Pennsylvania Collector comes this 17 inch diameter Convex Glass Lighted Gillco Manufactured 1940's Sign. Original Glass Lens has only a few very light scuffs but nothing deep or detracting. Light housing had to be refinished since the paint was 80 percent gone when I got it. Can was lightly sanded and sprayed with wrinkle finish Blue almost identical to it's original finish. Lens retaining ring which is originally chrome was refinished with Ultra Bright Silver Enamel. Ring was so rusted when I got this sign it had to be lightly sand blasted and then was not able to withstand the Chroming process, so I went the next best route. Came out looking great. If you have seen these signs in person and are familiar with Lighted Glass Signs you would agree that the "Glass" Portion of the sign is what really counts. When this Sign is Illuminated your eyes go right to the Lighted Glass Lens and this one really looks nice. Questions are welcome. I'm an ECBA ABA NABA BCCA member with outstanding feedback.
