Up for Auction is an authentic Black Steiff Teddy 1912 Replica - Also known as the Titanic Bear...This Bear was produced in 1972 with a Limited Edition of 7,000....this bear has a very low number of 00959...He has never been removed from his box and he is in Excellent unplayed with Condition...I am the original owner and he's been stored in a dry environment and never displayed...his coat is nice and dark, his eyes are nice and vibrant, he's clean, his growler works great, he has his original tag on his chest, original tag in his ear and his original certificate - the number on the certificate and his ear tag match with the same number 00959....He measures approx 15 inches in length...The box is in nice shape, its sturdy with some minor scuffing from being moved around....Here is the one issue: while taking pictures for eBay my dog heard the bear growl, the lid fell on the floor and the dog got a hold of the BOX LID and ran around the house with it, laid down on it (flattening it out/now has bends) and sunk a few teeth in one corner about an inch across...the lid however is still intact and has no tears...I was going to throw the lid out but it's still the original lid and can be used to store the bear = thus the lid is a 'freeby' I'm throwing it in free with the bear...also the dog did NOT touch the bear or the main box and yes. read more
