Steiff This auction is for a lovely holiday inspired creation from Steiff of Germany.This is an unusual piece- it is a music box that plays "Silent Night" from the base- the top of the base does revolve. On the base is a 5" mohair teddy bear dressed as Santa (with beard!) in front of a sleigh with presents, alongside him is a deer lying down and they are surrounded by three Christmas trees. The highest point from the bottom to the tallest tree is 10 1/2". On the base are lovely illustrations the remind me of an old carousel. This piece was from a limited edition of 1,000 pieces worldwide. As you can imagine it is a fragile set to pack--there is the chance that some of the glitter on the trees and base will shake off during shipping. This set comes with its certificate and the Santa and deer have their ear tags. **Due to the fragile nature of this piece it MUST be insured** I accept Paypal.
