STEIFF Golly Kids - EAN 662157 - LImited edition of 1500In 1895, English authoress Florence Upton published a series of books on the tales of one very special "Character doll" the Golly.The wonderful tales and adventures of Golly received huge popularity.Inspired by this magical character, Steiff produced their first Golly in 1908, the earliest known Golly to be commercially manufactured.The Golly Kids are made of the finest traditional felt.The girl wears the most delightful yellow and white striped cotton dress with yellow bows in her hair.The boy wears blue and white striped dungarees.Both have leather shoes.They follow on from the Golly Boy issued in 2001 and Golly Girl issued in 2003.VITAL STATISTICS.......
