This auction is for a Steiff Limited Edition Teddy Bear 1955 replica with a neck mechanism. It is a vintage Steiff limited to 4,000 and it is low number of 00376. It is 25cm in size, It was a 1955 orginal, the replica is made by hand with loving care and covered with the finest mohair plush. It is provided with an inside iron mechanism and stuffed with fine" excelsior" wood shaving.There is a round instruction tag on tail that states" turn here and I will move my head". Round steiff tag on chest with a yellow ribbon around neck. Has white ear tag with brass button. Made in 1990/91 and EAN 408854. Comes from private collection, Still works perfect and is in excellent condition, has hand embroidered nose, mouth and paws in bronze thread. comes from pet free smoke free home.
