From Germany. A spectacular souvenir stein with lid. Elegant. Stein just under 9" tall and 4 1/2" diameter at base ... This is #8 of a 12-part set called "Die Grossen Deutschen" (Great Germans) by Rastal of Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Germany ... Colors include blue, black, red, cream, brown, and lots of gold leaf. The large portrait of ML is Lukas Cranach's, including readable Hebrew text in the Bible he holds. 2nd panel is the Wartburg, 3rd is also from Lukas Cranach, sort of a eulogy written in 1546 which follows Luther's life through the years ... Big gold title above the Luther portrait reads "Der Reformator," while under the portrait is ML's signature ... the pewter lid is cool enough on its own with a great Luther Rose ... This item is unparalleled. Shipping will be UPS which includes insurance ... Thanks for looking.
