This beautiful 5 1/2 inch Bob Cratchit, holding Tiny Tim, Steinbach Nutcracker is from the 1998 "Christmas Carol Series." This nutcracker is number 002116 /10000, and has been retired, and is now difficult to find. The craftsmanship is extrodinary, all the way from the tiny greenery sprig with a red berry which adorns Bob's top hat to the detailed soft knit shawl worn around his neck. In his right hand, Bob is holding a green Christmas wreath with a red berry and red bow. In his left hand, he is holding the precious Tiny Tim with his tiny crutch. Both of their faces are very sweet. Even little Tiny Tim has a bit of hair peeking out from beneath his little cap. Bob Cratchit has on a pretty green jacket and a checkered shirt and checkered bowtie. This nutcracker is a treasure, and would make for a delightful keepsake or as a wonderful Christmas gift.
