You are bidding on a Beautifully Framed 96-97 STEINER AUTHENTICATED FULL SIGNATURE w/ # 8 KOBE BRYANT HOME JERSEY . I'm not sure how many Jersey's Kobe signed at Steiners signing, but I figure he was young and had'nt become Kobe Bryant yet, and don't think Steiner would have him sign alot of Jerseys ( Due to the cost of the Jerseys ) and have him sign mostly Basketballs & Hats. And check out that Signature 'WOW' You won't find many Full Signature Kobe Jersey's out t much less a Full Signature and the #8. The Sigs Sweet too, Please Check the Scans. I called Steiner about 5 years ago to confirm the Jersey's Authenticity ( Mainly because I hadn't seen any other Steiners up to that point & was seeing loads of UDA Kobe Jerseys ). I was assurred by their Spokesman the Jersey was Authentic and was very relieved. I even called Steiner this week to try and get the exact signing date of the Jersey. Talked with Peter Chapman and again he assurred me the Jersey was Authentic but couldn't give me an exact date of the signing, only that it was an Early Steiner signing. I've looked over the past 7 years & have only seen 1 other Early STEINER like this one but it was'nt framed, and that was at a Huge Sportsfest Show. And speaking of the frame, I've been told it's about a $400.00 to $500.00 Frame. I can't verify that but (2) Collectors that I trust in the hobby told me so. I will say this, It's a Beautiful Frame, weighs Approx 20 lbs and you can tell it was made just for Jerseys. I would like any potential bidder to know t is a small scratch at the bottom of the Frame on the glass right above the nameplate, but it does'nt affect the look of the Jersey in any way ( Please feel free to contact me Via Email if t are any questions concerning the scratch ). Now I'm not sure the exact date I bought this Jersey, But I do know it was the Morning of the 99-00 NBA ALLSTAR Dunk Competition. I remember it well, And not as much for buying this Jersey, But for the Jersey I bought with it in the deal, an Autographed Rookie Jersey of Vince Carter from his first Promotional Signing with A.P.E. inc. Now what's great about that is, that same day later on in the Evening, Carter introduced himself to the world with a dazzling assortment of dunks in the Slam Dunk Contest that were unheard of until then. Carters Star immediately shoots up and becomes for a short time the NBA's hottest Commodity. "Just Complete Luck" was all I could tell the Dealer the next day when I went back to buy (62) Hand Picked 87 Fleer Barry Bond's RC's That I bought from another dealer at a great bargain. WOW, Still to this day the second best show I ever attended. This Jersey is probaly the hardest item for me to sell, always a nice Conversation Piece ( Gonna Miss it ) Unfortunately, I'll be selling my collectables & card collection in various ways over the next month (Daughters Wedding). Most of my collection are Key Rookies of Sports Stars in each of their respective leagues. I've always been pretty Picky about the Condition of the cards I've bought over the years, and tried to always stay with a Star Player's best cards. But Priorities change, And the purpose for selling them helps ease the pain. However, Good thing is, My loss is your gain. s a opportunity to either invest for the future, Fill some holes in your personal collection, Or get a loved one started in Card Collecting. I've got a decent variety of Star Players best cards I'm letting go so please check out my OTHER ITEMS I have up for Auction.
