This 5 1/4" by 4 3/16" Carcharocles Megalodon fossil tooth has a beautiful dark tan color to the enamel with specks of black around the sides. The enamel looks nearly complete front and back. The symmentry is almost perfect and it has a well defined bourlette. It has that characteristic V shape to the tooth. Repair/restoration to the left side of the tooth and root. This is not noticeable. The fossil source is the Hawthorne Formation exposed in the coastal areas of South Carolina. Mid Miocene in age. Good luck. I accept paypal, cashiers check, or money order.
