First British hardcover edition of Stephen King's epic 1986 novel It, published by Hodder & Stoughton.Dustjacket is in superb condition, no creases, folds or tears. Unclipped, showing £12.95 price and protected in mylar cover.Book is in excellent condition with some tanning and slight scuffing to outer page edges. No interior writing or marking. Spine straight and strong, binding tight and sound.I purchased this copy from Betts Bookstore in Bangor, Maine which is unfortunately no longer in operation, but used to be located literally around the corner from Stephen King's house on Broadway and specialized in various editions of King's books. Folded inside is the map I was given on my visit highlighting local points of interest which were prominent in King's novels.Questions or requests for additional photos welcome.Ships next business day following confirmation of payment.
