Lt. Col. Luther Bradley, 9th Inf., 9.) Lt. Col. Pinkney Lugenbeel, 1st Inf., 10.) Lt. Col. Daniel Huston, Jr., 6th Inf., 11.) Lt. Col. Amos Beekwith, Asst. Commissary of Subsistence, 12.) Maj. George D. Ruggles, Assit. Adjutant Gen., 13.) Maj. David G. Swaim, Judge Advocate of the Court. The commission members judged the case of Colonel Joseph J. Reynolds who was tried and found guilty of abandoning dead men on the battlefield and being unable to regain horses from a battle against the Sioux Chief Crazy Horse on the Powder River in Montana.
