This is a fantastic looking and very rare vintage Bohlin belt buckle. It has the old football shaped "Bohlinmade Hollywood California" mark on back and is also marked sterling, 18k, 24k - see photos. The eyes are 24k. This piece is even more rare in that it is also marked PROTOTYPE - see photos. It has some wear on the longhorn head but overall is in very nice condition and looks amazing. And it is truelly a one of a kind piece by the primier vintage western silver maker. It measures 3" long x 2" wide. It weighs 71 grams. I am honestly not sure which part of the buckle is the 18k and but it appears that it could be the longhorn head itself. No reserve. Good luck. This is a fantastic one of a kind vintage western piece. Thank you. The epening w the belt attaches to the buckle is 1 1/2" wide
