These chains are woven by hand to a 27.5 inch length; none are cut from a spool. Even the lock is hand made. The original destinations for these chains are seminaries in Italy , to be used in the ordination of new Catholic priests. But we persuaded silversmiths Juan & Zoila to let us a have 25 to offer on Ebay. This group of 25 took them one month to complete. We will not be getting more this year.
