Up for auction is this truly outstanding Elkington & Co. sterling silver tea kettle with stand and warmer. Tea kettle has two locking keys that hold the kettle to the sterling silver stand. Tea kettle and stand are hallmarked with the makers mark "E&Co Ld" , the Anchor, the Lion Passant, and the letter "e". This represents that the pieces were made in Birmingham, England in the year 1904 by the famous Elkington and Co. The kettle's handle features ivory breakers and is beautifully detailed. The bottom of the kettle reads "ELKINGTON & Co." The handle is also hallmarked with the Lion Passant and the letter "e". The warmer is marked with the Lion Passant and the letter "h", representing Birmingham, England in the year 1907. T is also another piece that goes with the warmer that is marked with the Lion Passant and the letter "h". The piece can be seen in one of the pictures. I'm not sure what it is used for, but I think it must have something to do with the wick. Tea kettle measures 12 inches from handle to spout and is 15 inches high when on stand. All pieces are in excellent condition and are beautifully detailed.
