FABULOUS FOR THE HOLIDAYS VINTAGE 1940's - 50's LUNT STERLING SILVER FLATWARE SET ELEGANT AND ORNATE "American Victorian" PATTERN First Released 1941 SERVICE FOR 12 PLUS SERVING PIECES 84 pieces total Just in from one of the many estate loads we recieve in our shop each month is this fantastic heavy solid sterling silver service for 12. The manufacturer is LUNT and the pattern is the highly desirable and very elegant and ornate "AMERICAN VICTORIAN". This is a very rich and lovely vintage design featuring wild roses with a foliage and scroll motif. VERY PRETTY AND ROMANTIC !!! ELEGANT AND LOVELY !!! According to the estate heirs, this beautiful set was a wedding gift in the late 1940's to early 1950's . It looks to be barely used and is in near mint condition . Most pieces show no wear and look new . We gave this beautifully ornate set a light polish, which was all that was needed to restore it's lovely glow . This beautiful flatware set had been stored for years in a closet inside the tarnish resistant box that we are including for free if desired. The interior is good, but the exterior leattte shows it's age. It does do it's job though, as t was only a very light tarnish present after all these years. This stunning set of fine sterling silver would be a fabulous addition to any holiday or special occassion table. T is a full service for 12 including: 12 dinner forks 12 salad forks 12 dinner knives 12 bread and butter knives 24 tea/soup spoons 1 gravy ladle 1 master butter knife 1 sugar spoon 2 large serving spoons 7 small serving spoons Free tarnish protection box As you can see from the pictures, this set is in fantastic near mint condition . The master butter knife does appear to have been used on a more regular basis and shows the patina that appears with use. All other pieces are in great and near new condition . They are monogram free. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SET WITH A LOVELY AND ORNATE WILD ROSE MOTIF !!! NOTE: We are requiring insurance on this item and have only quoted shipping by Priority USPS. The shipping calculator is NOT including insurance in the calculation. The insurance will be based on final selling price at USPS rates.
