For sale is a great set of 9 pieces of Sterling Mexico overlay-included you have 5 footed shot glasses, a salt & pepper & 2 small shot glasses. The salt & pepper shakers each have 7 holes-one has larger holes than the other one, are 4 1/4" tall each, are marked with an Eagle 58 symbol which in the Little book of Mexico Silver Trade & Hallmarks is attributed to Los Castillo & Antonio Pineda. These are also marked-Hencho en Mexico D.F.L.M M 925 Sterling. The holder inside is glass with the pretty silver overlay rose design. One of the shakers has the silver separated right at the top part-not very noticeable-I think t was a seam t, but I wanted to point this out. The footed shot glasses are also marked the same as the salt & pepper-great condition, each is 3 1/8" tall with a lovely patina-glass inside each. The smaller shot glasses are 2" tall,marked on the bottom with an eagle 135 Hencho en Mexico 925 JM-these are also in great shape-lovely patina also & glass inside the overlay. I am selling this as a set-unusual to find this many pieces together-no reserve, non smoking home. Insurance can be purchased at actual postal cost.
