Sterling reticulated tray Mono on the bottom that for the life of me, I can't figure out Offered at auction is a medium sized cake or dessert tray with very few of the usual use and/or storage marks. It is in very good condition with no dings or nicks that I could find. This tray would be lovely on your holiday table holding a variety of treats or it would be equally stellar as a base for an artificial flower arrangement for any time of the year. This sterling tray measures 8 inches in diameter and stand 1 inch off the table. It is unweighted and weighs a very nice 179 grams. This would make an absolutely splendid holiday gift for that very special sterling lover on your gift list... even if that person is you. Please view the pictures carefully. I generally take my photographs outside in sunlight to accurately depict the colors and conditions of the items I am offering. But today, it is raining steadily and I was forced to photograph indoors... so if you see any marks or colors that look like damage... it is reflections from the flash or reflections of the surrounding furniture. When it is safely possible, I try to combine shipments to save on postage and packaging requirements. T are some instances w that may not be possible, so if you have won more than one auction, please wait until you receive an invoice from me. As always, shipping amounts are estimates only and I always refund any overages that may occur. I try to fully and faithfully disclose any irregularities I find but I am far from perfect and some things may escape my detection. When damage (no matter how minute) I try to make sure that it is clearly depicted in the photos. Also, while I thoroughly wash and hand-polish every piece of sterling that I sell, I do not have the time or the inclination to get out a toothbrush and clean every little nook and cranny of the more intricate designs unless build-up or tarnish is excessive. I believe that I have described the above auction offering accurately and in detail. Please consult the photographs or Email me with any questions. My word is my bond. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 3 business days to arrange return and a refund of your purchase price. Shipping charges are not refundable. The sterling that I am currently listing are not my property and as such, I am unable to make a 'deal' or entertain a 'Best Offer' scenario. They belong to a friend who is in the precious metals business. He has a warehouse that is stockpiled with sterling items that he has purchased over the last 28 years of business, including more than 100 different silver flatware sets. With the soaring price of silver, he had decided to send them all to the smelter to be melted down. Instead, I convinced him to let me try to offer them on Ebay so that they would not be destroyed. I know that t are silver lovers out t that wish to harken back to the days of genteel dining and gracious living.
