This is a VERY showy buckle, and it's made of sterling silver! It has the central figure of a bull and rider, in high relief and good detail. Above and below the central figure are hand applied and engraved silver scrolls; on bottom is an oval shield (I don't think this small shield is sterling) with a figure of a horse and a brand in it. An ornate 3-1/4" x 4" border finishes the face.On back is the Navajo maker's hallmark. This buckle hit the ground a time or two (that happens to bull riders, you know!) and has been expertly refurbished and cleaned up. Fits a belt up to 1-3/4" wide.
