EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE STERLING MODEL KIT U.S.S. MISSOURI Battleship B-17M SEALED!!! NEVER OPENED OR USED This ship model measures 55-1/2 inches in length (almost 6 feet long) with a 6-3/4 inch beam when completed It is in the Original Box with Original factory Shrink Wrap Includes all the paper work, blueprint and decals. (Please note that the ORIGINAL shrink wrap is frayed and sketchy in some areas). (Some of the meeting points of the short sides of the box have begun to separate slightly) This Kit has never been opened. The kit was designed from official blueprints (provided by the U.S. Navy) and measures 45 x 35 inches. Designed for power and/or radio control operation as well as for a shelf display model. It consists of the finest grade Lauan and birch plywoods as well as the finest quality-density graded balsa. The Sterling model company was bought by Estes Industries (the rocket people) and they discontinued the U.S.S. Missouri battleship kit, hence its rarity.
