ESTATE FIND! This particular auction is for a vintage Sugar Bowl with Lid, Creamer & Tray set. Each is marked on the bottom " Hecho en Mexico, 0925 ". (See close up photo of the bottom of one for more details). I understand that 0925 is the hallmark for Sterling Silver or Coin Silver. The 4 piece set also appears to be Gold Plated. I originally thought them to be made of brass until I saw the hallmark on the bottom of each. I am a novice about this sort of thing, so I will leave it up to you more avid collectors to know for sure. I weighed the set on my postal scale and it weighs a whopping 2 pounds and 4 ounces in actual weight!! The sugar bowl measures approximately 6 inches across from handle end to handle end and it is about 6 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the pedestal base to the tip of the lid's finial top. The creamer measures about 5 inches across from handle end to the opposite side and it is 5 1/2 inches tall at the highest point. The tray measures approximately 10 7/8 inches long, 6 7/8 inches wide and about 1/2 of an inch deep. The Set is quite beautiful and ornate!
