INCREDIBLE SET OF SPOONS! .925 Sterling Silver Made by Henn & Haynes 2 Matching Sets of 6 spoons ( 6 teaspoons , 6 coffee spoons ) Engraved 1909 but probably older (read on!) * Set of 6 Teaspoons * Each measures 6-1/8" in length. The handle alone is 4". Set together on the scale they weigh about 6 oz. * Set of 6 Coffee Spoons * Each measures 5-1/2" in length. The handle alone is 3-3/4". Set together on the scale they weigh about 4 oz. * Hallmarks, etc. * These have lots of hallmark stuff. Since both sets have the same, this description will be for both: On the front at the end of the handle t is a monogram which is faint (a very elaborate old english "F"). On the back side, closest to the bowl, is a square which has 925/1000. Next is a square that has something in it but to be honest I simply cannot figure out what it is! (If I figure it out, I'll add to this description). After that is the word "STERLING". Starting at about halfway down the handle, t is the engraving "HENN & HAYNES". Try as I may, I cannot find information about these makers, so they may have been the sellers. (If anyone knows anything I'd be glad for the information). After this is a fleur-de-lis mark and an eagle silhouette mark. Finally, each handle's back is finished with a fleur-de-lis shape (inside the borders). Above that is a 1909 engraved on the larger spoons, and an '09 engraved on the smaller spoons. The reason I think these are older, even if by a year, is because these were a wedding gift for a couple in my family tree with the year engraved specifically for their wedding. These are gorgeous, elegant spoons. They will be carefully wrapped for super safe priority mail shipment. Insurance is required ($2.70) and has been calculated into your shipping costs.
