Sterling International CHRISTOFFERDEN designed salt and pepper shakers. This auction is for the conical shaped pair, on the right hand side ...I have the other cubist style S&P shakers offered in another auction. This style is called Continental which the famous Christoffersen designed for International. Kurt Eric Christoffersen was a Danish/ American silver/goldsmith. This pair was originally retailed at 30.00 back in the 1950's. The solder lines running up and down, though hardly visable, show that these were handcrafted and not simply cast! Size... each is 4.0" high and 1.5" widest. Condition....Excellent..very heavy sterling silver (0.25 lbs). Signed.... INTERNATIONAL STERLING , CHRISTOFFERSEN Designed , CS 400 , also one has the overlaying CK . SH & Insurance on this pair will be $10.00...Please remember...this includes insurance.
