Up for auction is an extremely rare Sterling Silver Figurine of Donald Duck Going Fishing made by the renowned sculpturer Philip Kraczkowski. It depicts Donald Duck with a fishing rod and can of worms. It contains 21.8 ounces (over 1.5 lbs) of Sterling Silver. Incredibly, this is #1 of the limited edition (read more about this below). In 1971, the Hallo division of Hallmark commissioned Philip Kraczkowski to make a series of Sterling Silver sculptures depicting various Disney characters to commemorate the opening of Walt Disney World. As far as we know, only the first two figurines in the series were made: (i) Mickey Mouse and Pluto and (ii) Donald Duck Going Fishing. The figurine measures approximately 4 3/4" in heights and 3 5/8" wide at the base. The figurine read more
