This is an old Sterling Silver Flask. Actually age is unknown, but due to it's source, it is believed to be from the early 1900's. It has a maker's mark, which I was unable to identify (see the photo), and is marked 'Sterling'. It has some light surface scratches, particularly on the back, and has 4 small dents on the edge......two at the bottom and one on either side. When the cap is opened, t is some mild corrosion around the mouth and inside the cap. The cork seal is in place on the cap. I would rate it as in very good to excellent condition, given its age. T are large, fancy script initials inscribed on the front (see the photo). Weight is 5.2 ounces (149 grams). PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE YOU BID!! Buyer pays Priority Mail Shipping and Insurance. Payment by CHECK or MONEY ORDER, which is required WITHIN 7 DAYS of auction close. Checks must clear my bank (5-7 business days) before I ship. PLEASE NOTE : I ship on Thursdays ONLY, so kindly make that allowance when sending your payment. Thank you. I have been asked by several individuals whether the flask is glass lined. I cannot say with 100% certainty, but it appears to be unlined. It's difficult to peer inside the body, but the inside of the neck does not have any indications of a liner, and appears to me to be solid sterling.
