You are bidding on a vintage grouping of Harrison and Bros. sterling silver pcs. with mother of pearl handles. T are 41 pcs. in all consisting 12 fruit knives, 12 dessert knives ,12 dinner knives, and four serving pieces. The serving pieces are a meat fork another large serving fork, a piece that comes to a point, maybe it held meat I am not sure, and a large serving knife. All pieces have the Harrison Bros. hallmark on them, the serving piece that is long and pointed, maybe used for meat has the words, Harrison Bros. Towson marked on it. The mother of pearl handle are engraved on all pieces except for the fruit knives and the mother of pearl is in very good condition on all pieces.The engraving is etched into the mother of pearl and is in black lettering with the initials ERA. T are 4 knives that have pitting on the blade section, please see the photos. I will be furnishing more detailed photos later this evening.Please email any and all question that you may have. Kindly note that Ihave made en error in the listing.The serrated fruit knives are a different pttern and manufacturer. They have sterling scroll bolsters and are Landers Frary and Clark Etna Works. I discovered this while taking detailed photos of the knives that have pitting. I am trying to email Stephen L. to notify him of this but the email has been blocked. Please confirm Stephen if you have seen this revision. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. The meat forks do not have the hallmark on them. T are 5 large knives that have pitting on the blades. All pieces although t are two different manufacturers and patterns are mother of pearl. The Harrison set has a bolster of what I would call columns. The dimensions of the knives are: large dinner knives 91/2 in., fruit knives 61/2 in, luncheon knves 71/2 in. I have found an additional serving knife making it a total of 5 larger serving pieces.
