Mexican Bracelet This is a lovely old Mexican bracelet. It consists of six panels each with a symbolic image inlaid in crushed stone. One is a person, the others are animals. The stone background is mostly blue, which I believe is Lapis, there are also light green and reddish brown stones. The bracelet is 5/8" wide and approximately 7-3/4" long. It is marked on the inside Taxco 925 FS Hecho en Mexico. It is heavy, 35 grams. The clasp opens by squeezing at the bottom and pulling at the same time. I find it hard to do with one hand, but it is large enough it fits over my hand without opening the clasp. Condition is very nice. There are some minor pin point sized missing spots in the stone, see the second photo below. I think they might have been bubbles in the adhesive. In the panel with the thunderbird there are two areas where a tiny stone might have come out, but there is other stone beneath it so it is hardly noticible.
