This is a Sterling Silver Germany Gabler Cable Band Thimble. The Gabler Company was bought by the Greif Family in the early 1960s. I am not sure of what year this thimble was made in. On the cap star. In the knurling above the band it is stamped .925, and a G. T is a reeded band and below this is a cable band. T are no holes and it has a tiny dent at the rim which makes it not completely round. But you have to really look for it with a magnifying glass. The thimble is 14/16" tall and the diameter of the openings 10/16". This is a very beautiful thimble. The only thing I ask of the internationally bidders is that they please speak English and can communicate with me. I only speak English.
