Seafood Crackers Sterling Silver in Gorham's 1895 Chantilly Pattern. Rare item. Old Gorham hallmarks of (Lion Passant, Anchor, G), and STERLING Monogrammed on the inside of 1 of the handles. Photos Estate used - Very good condition. Sterling hollow handles and solid stainless steel crackers. This is a substantial piece in weight (196 grams) and very well made. It is an old piece. The photos show light scratches and some minor scruffing scattered around the edges and high points. T are some shallow pinhead pings. The mechanism is tight and in excellent working order. The patina has aged beautifully. This is a handsome, functional item that would also make an unusual and special gift. The last photo is for size reference and to show other Gorham Chantilly available in other auctions. Only the seafood cracker is for sale in this auction. This piece is seen at the top left of photo.
