This is an outstanding pair of Sterling Silver spurs, from Eduardo Garcia. We used these spurs daily doing ranch work for a number of years, and then retired them to our collection. They are all original and complete with no repairs or replaced parts. These spurs have some of the best inlay and overlay work I have ever seen, with fantastic engraving. The heel bands are 1 1/2" wide, with an opening that is just a shade over 3". The rowels are 2" diameter. These are the popular but uncommon swan pattern, inlaid / overlaid sterling on iron. Both spurs are clearly marked inside the heel bands E GARCIA . The jingle bobs are original and complete. The straps are basket stamped, lined and stitched, with domed conchos made from 1933 Mexican Un Peso coins. The 3 piece buckle sets on each strap are Sterling plate, I believe. The straps are marked R E HUNN, Augusta, KS. These straps have been with these spurs their whole lives. All the silver on both straps and spurs has a heavy natural patina. They have not been cleaned or polished, but would shine up great if desired. A great pair spurs to use, and are very collectable. Shipping Insurance is recommended and available at cost, based on the final selling price.
