Postmasters of America Medallic First Day Covers 1971 Up for auction is a nice album with an embossed title centered on the cover. This album has eleven sterling silver coins with a First Day Of Issue Postage Stamps in denominations of 8 cents. On the rear is a description of the stamp and a description of the sterling silver coin and the significance of the stamp and coin. The ll pages cover the following: Bicentennial of the American Revolution American Artist John Sloan A Decade of Space Achievement Emily Dickinson - American Poet 450th Anniversary of San Juan, Puerto Rico Prevent Drug Abus25th Anniversary of CARE Historic Preservation - Decatur House Historic Preservation - The Charles W. Morgan Historic Preservation - San Francisco Cable Car Historic Preservation - San Xavier del Bac Mission We have included a number of pictures showing the condition. Each coin is estimated at .8 ounce and has a .90 silver composition. The envelopes are pre-addressed. Nonetheless, this collection is on good condition with little if any toning. Insured shipping is fixed at $13.00 to any confirmed address in the USA. We will not ship internationally nor to an unconfirmed address. We also glady combine shipping for multiple items.
