We are offering for sale three superb examples of silver pendants in the form of ingots. Two of them are bullion bar shaped with facetted edges and the third is a flat ingot. These ingots were especially popular in the 70's and were hung from a chain and worn as a necklace. There has been a recent trend towards them again for both jewellery purposes but also as simple and attractive forms of collecting precious metal bullion for investment. Please view our specialist site for a further large selection of fine quality Victorian, Georgian and earlier silver by following the links on our about m e page or find our contact details further down this page under the "Business Seller Information" section. MEASUREMENTS : 3.8 to 4.2 cm (1.5-1.7") long (plus retainer ring) ; 80 grams weight. MARKS: Full set of English hallmarks (guaranteeing Sterling 925 standard silver) for London or Sheffield (x2) 1977. Each ingot also bears the Queen's head commemorative mark to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. CONDITION: Excellent polished condition - near mint.
