Sterling, maker's mark is on reverse which stands for Joseph Mayer & bros., Inc. This is a great spoon from the Panama Pacific International Exp.,(exposition) in 1915 at San Francisco! On the finial is written all of the above & has the city seal, going down hdl., ff winged lady with short dress, arms in the air holding a wreath & blowing a horn, next in circle is 1915, last written San Francisco again. On reverse of hdl., is a globe with maps of U.S. & etc. & written on one side San Francisco & on East, New York, below is winged lady with her wings holding up the globe & the dress is long in back. Below in circle is PPIE, 1915, over sunset & water. The bowl on obverse side is wriiten The New Cliff House, the scene & below that is San Francisco, Cal. I will try to make as reasonable as I can. If item is over $50.00 it has to be insured for at least $50.00 which is $1.35, unless they changed that too!
