This is a vintage sterling silver spoon that was made as a souvenir of Westminster Abbey, London. In the gilded bowl is an embossed view of the Abbey w coronations and royal weddings and burials have taken place since 1066. On the top of the handle is an enamelled crest of London. The spoon measures 5.7" long and weighs 13 grams. It is in excellent condition with no damage to the enamel and only the very lightest signs of wear. The spoon is marked on the reverse of the handle with the Birmingham sterling hallmark from 1923 and the maker's mark, L & S, that I have not been able to identify. Airmail postage to the U.S.A. would be $1.95, to the United Kingdom, Australia and other International destinations would be $3.69.
